Pipe Jacking

 

The method of Pipe Jacking is used to lay underground pipes without having to excavate a trench. Using powerful hydraulic jacks, the specially designed pipes are positioned within the access shaft and then pushed in to the ground while the ground at the face is removed in a timely and cost effective manner. This trenchless tunnelling technique is extremely popular due to the fact that the surface is unaffected by the construction and therefore there is no damage or disruption to nature, roads, and residents.
