Pipe Jacking

The method of Pipe Jacking is used to lay underground pipes without having to excavate a trench. Using powerful hydraulic jacks, the specially designed pipes are positioned within the access shaft and then pushed in to the ground while the ground at the face is removed in a timely and cost effective manner. This trenchless tunnelling technique is extremely popular due to the fact that the surface is unaffected by the construction and therefore there is no damage or disruption to nature, roads, and residents.

Guided Auger Boring

Typical Applications:

  • The laying of pipelines in protected natural areas, densely populated areas and frequently used roads to avoid disruption.
  • Tunnelling close to historic buildings due to fewer vibrations that can cause damage.
  • Service ducting and potable water lines for hygiene and maintenance opportunities.
  • Sewer upgrades and flood relief.
